Job Summary
: As an eCommerce Solutions Specialist at Whitestone, you will be part of the technology team within Operations and act as a critical partner to the internal and sales departments. Your primary focus will be leading the design and implementation of non-traditional, technology-enabled e-commerce and compliance programs for our enterprise clients. This role combines customer-facing consultation with internal execution, translating complex requirements into scalable platform solutions using tools such as Liftoff, Shopify, commonsku, Zapier and AI. You'll guide projects from discovery to launch, ensuring seamless handovers, process clarity, and cross-functional alignment every step of the way.
Basic skills:

Ability to evaluate customer needs and design customized solutions on e-commerce, logistics and fulfillment platforms.

Confident communicator who can simplify technical concepts for company stakeholders and build trust.

Skill in schedules, delegation of tasks and coordination of stakeholders; brings structure to complexity.
Multifunctional collaboration:
Work fluidly with the Sales, Finance, Production, Creative and Technology teams.
Continuous improvement and customer success:
Identify process gaps and implement scalable improvements with long-term value in mind.
Essential Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales on customer discovery sessions, translating business needs into scalable technical and operational solutions.
Design complex eCommerce workflows and fulfillment programs, customizing platform logic using third-party tools and automation layers.
Serve as an internal leader during the pre-sales and implementation phases, uniting technical and non-technical teams.
Write detailed statements of work (SOW) that describe platform configurations, customizations, integration points, schedules, and resources.
Offer customized platform demos and tutorials, ensuring the customer understands both functionality and limitations.
Lead internal post-sales project teams to execute automated builds, configurations and workflows across all departments.
Assign tasks and manage progress with internal resources, including technology managers and web developers.
Troubleshoot implementation bottlenecks and proactively manage escalations to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
Coordinate a smooth transition from accounts to Account Management, ensuring documentation and continuity of the process.
Support the development of cross-functional teams by contributing to process manuals and onboarding documentation.
Conduct post-launch reviews and stakeholder checks, collect feedback, and propose future improvements.
Minimum qualifications:
4+ years of experience in customer success, solutions engineering, technical sales, or project management in e-commerce, logistics, or SaaS environments.
Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce platforms, order management systems, 3PL integrations and API-based workflows.
Convenient design solutions using automation and integration tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, and other no-code/low-code/AI platforms
Experience managing complex implementations with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
Ability to juggle multiple business projects while ensuring smooth execution and communication.
Experience in the promotional products or branded merchandise industry is a huge plus. Experience with project management tools (Asana or similar tool)
