We are looking for an SEO/GEO specialist who combines technical experience with strategic vision and a great desire for innovation. He will be the go-to advisor on SEO initiatives, responsible for delivering measurable results and experimenting with emerging areas such as GEO to ensure Scopic's presence in AI-based searches. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects in software development and other industries, experiment with AI-based approaches, and directly contribute to company growth.
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for the SEO strategy and contribute to the roadmap to increase organic traffic, lead generation and conversions.
Execute and optimize on-page, off-page and technical SEO initiatives.
Monitor performance, analyze data, and generate reports with actionable insights.
Explore emerging trends in generative engine optimization (GEO) and help position Scopic's brand and content in AI-powered search results such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly AI-driven innovations in SEO and GEO, and proactively recommend new tools and methods.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content and development teams to align SEO strategies with business objectives.
Ensure clear communication, organization and consistency in task planning and reporting.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional SEO experience with a proven track record of growth in competitive industries (bonus if working in software development or technology).
Technical SEO knowledge (site audits, crawling, indexing, schema, site speed optimization, etc.).
Experience in on-page and off-page SEO, including link building and digital public relations.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar tools.
Familiarity with web structures: servers, CMS platforms, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
Experience with AI/LLM-powered SEO experimentation (preferred, but not required).
Flexible, proactive and open to innovation.
Advanced written and spoken English.
Bachelor's degree or higher degree.
