About the Role

Wow Remote Teams, an international staffing agency connecting top Latin American professionals with U.S. companies, is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join its remote team.

This is a mid-level position designed for HR professionals with proven experience managing comprehensive human resources processes. The selected candidate will oversee end-to-end HR operations, handle sensitive employee relations matters, and ensure compliance across all HR functions while supporting our growing international workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding and exit processes.
• Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely compensation delivery.
• Handle complex employee relations situations including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Navigate and resolve sensitive situations such as payment delays and conflicts with professionalism and discretion.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company values and legal requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to managers on people management best practices.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in our systems.
• Lead performance management cycles and provide coaching on difficult conversations.
• Drive employee wellbeing initiatives and engagement strategies to foster a healthy, supportive, and productive remote work environment.
• Continuously evaluate HR processes to identify gaps, implementing data-driven improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in HR operations and generalist functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Proven track record handling difficult situations including terminations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Intermediate English level (B2) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Experience with payroll administration and processing (highly desirable but not required).
