Job Description
We are looking for an illustrator with experience in graphic narrative and sequential art to collaborate on long-term editorial projects. The selected person will work from detailed scripts, creating high-quality illustrations and developing visual stories aimed at an adult audience.
Responsibilities:
Create comic pages and illustrations following scripts and creative specifications.
Develop visual narratives through effective panel composition and fluid sequence of scenes.
Make illustrations with a high level of detail, taking care of anatomy, expressions and artistic composition.
Maintain a consistent graphic style throughout the development of each project.
Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure that illustrations meet established quality standards.
Manage deliveries in an organized manner, respecting agreed deadlines and maintaining fluid communication with the team.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in illustration and sequential narrative for comics.
Mastery of vignette design, visual composition, anatomy, dynamic poses and detailed representation of characters and settings.
Ability to develop illustrations based on detailed scripts or outlines.
Portfolio that includes comic or illustration works aimed at adult audiences and that demonstrates experience in this type of projects.
Ability to artistically and coherently represent the themes of the works developed by the publishing house.
Organization, commitment to delivery times and communication skills.
Ability to work in English, Spanish or German.
