Job Description
We are looking for an animation profile to work in the development and maintenance of systems and tools within a video game environment. The person will be in charge of facilitating the work of the animation team and ensuring integration into the graphics engine.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain the animation workflow from DCC tools (Maya/Blender) to the graphics engine.
Write and maintain Python scripts and tools to optimize animation work.
Configure and support character skeletons for use in gameplay and cinematics.
Collaborate with design, art and engineering to define technical standards.
Document systems, workflows, and animation tools.
Requirements:
Experience in technical animation for video games.
Python required (Maya scripting, pipeline tools, editor extensions).
Experience in Unreal Engine (Animation Blueprints, Control Rig) or Unity (Animator Controller).
It will be valued:
Additional languages such as C++, C# or MEL.
Experience in motion capture pipeline.
Procedural animation, IK solvers, ragdoll and physics-based movement.
Use of version control such as Perforce or Git.
Participation in AAA or AA projects in technical animation.
