Job Description
We are looking for a person with experience in data environments to work on the definition and design of architectures aimed at a product in the initial phase, ensuring the integration of multiple sources and the viability of data for use in analysis and decision making.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate sources, structures and quality of data in different systems.
Define ingestion, mapping and transformation strategies to unify data sets.
Design the target data architecture to support a scalable environment, including multi-source integration and master record approaches.
Identify gaps, risks and limitations in current data that may affect the product.
Define data models, schemas and integration patterns aligned with product needs.
Establish governance, lineage, and data quality management approaches.
Collaborate with product, UX and engineering teams to ensure that the architecture covers needs and workflows.
Make decisions balancing speed, complexity and scalability in an early development environment.
Work with data sets to validate hypotheses and support architectural decisions.
Support prototyping of data flows, pipelines, and transformations.
Contribute to technical solutions when necessary with tools such as Python or SQL.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data ownership, limitations and priorities.
Support user validation by ensuring that data fits with product approaches.
Translate data problems into clear and understandable solutions for non-technical profiles.
Requirements:
Experience as a data architect, senior data engineer or similar role.
Experience working with multi-source data environments.
Ability to work in initial phases of product definition.
Experience designing scalable data architectures aimed at analysis or decision making.
Communication ability to connect technical and product aspects.
