ESCALATION ENGINEER

We are looking for a highly qualified Escalation Engineer to join our technology support and infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems administration, cloud platforms, virtualization, infrastructure migrations, and disaster recovery.

Main Responsibilities:

Administration, implementation and migration of Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. • Administration, deployment and migration of Microsoft 365. • Administration of physical and virtual servers in local and cloud environments. • Implementation and support of VMware, Nutanix, Cisco HyperFlex and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms. • Design and implementation of backup and disaster recovery solutions, mainly using Datto and Veeam. • Identification of technical risks and development of mitigation plans. • Management of technical escalations and coordination of resources to resolve incidents. • Preparation of detailed technical documentation and project management. • Participation in On-Call support rotations. • Maintenance of strict standards of confidentiality and information security.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in information technologies. • Proven experience in administration of physical and virtual servers. • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform. • Experience in Active Directory, DNS, Windows Server, Firewalls, Switching and VPN. • Ability to work autonomously, proactively and results-oriented. • Previous experience in managed services companies (MSP), cloud service providers (CSP), or related industries. • 100% command of the English language, spoken and written.

Will be additionally valued:

University degree in areas related to Technology or Engineering. • IT certifications. • Experience in managing technological projects. • More than 5 years of professional experience in IT.

Location and Modality:

Residing in Latin America. • Availability to work during US business hours. • Mode: 100% Remote. • Position type: Full time.

Salary:
Between USD $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 monthly.
