Looking for a smart and enthusiastic backend software engineer with experience in MongoDB and a keen interest in current technology and engineering.
The candidate will participate in the adoption of the latest version of MongoDB in a set of applications, applying knowledge of Java, MongoDB and good engineering practices. Additionally, you will take an active role in team discussions, code reviews, and collaborate with colleagues to identify, prioritize, and deliver features that add value to customers. You will also mentor less experienced developers.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the adoption of the latest version of MongoDB in various applications.

Requirements:
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Experience in Java 8+, ideally with Java 11/14/17 and OpenJDK.
Business experience with Node.js or Python.
Willingness to acquire additional skills in technologies such as Node.js or Python.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including data modeling.
Knowledge of Spring, especially Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Spring Data.
Experience working with Azure or AWS.
Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication (REST, queues or topics depending on the technology).
Mastery of microservices architecture, including containerization, availability and failover scenarios.
Experience writing unit and integrated tests.
Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Experience in Maven/Gradle and working with CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Customer orientation and passion for understanding problems and proposing software solutions.
Focus on delivery with strong analysis and problem solving skills.
Flexibility to adapt skills to different projects, use cases and delivery methods.
