The work focuses on the creation of scalable solutions based on microservices with a direct impact on products in the fintech field. Participate in an international environment by collaborating in the design, evolution and maintenance of business-critical platforms.
Responsibilities:
Code development in Java 21 or higher with a focus on quality, efficiency and maintenance.
Creation of unit, integration and end-to-end tests to avoid errors and regressions.
Participation in code reviews for knowledge exchange within the team.
Evaluation of new technologies and libraries to improve development processes.
Writing clear documentation for users and technical teams.
Identification of common problems between systems and development of reusable solutions through libraries.
Design of systems and functionalities of medium complexity.
Estimation of development times to support team planning.
I work on core systems with direct impact on the business.
Collaboration with a highly qualified international team.
Assumption of relevant technical challenges within the platform.
Contribution to the development of a product in the financial services sector.
Mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in microservices architectures.
Experience in synchronous REST communication over HTTP and asynchronous communication with Apache Kafka.
Knowledge of database transactions and locking mechanisms.
Experience using development workflows with artificial intelligence to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality.
Experience in Java 21 and Spring Boot ecosystem.
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, Apache Kafka, and Docker.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms applied to load distribution such as sharding and leadership election.
2 years of experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Kibana.
1 year of experience with infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Github Actions, Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform and Terragrunt.
Experience in the fintech sector or in startup environments with a high work pace.
