Job Description
Seeking a Software Engineer to develop and scale Streem's energy market platform. This role is for someone who wants to understand the business, design systems and create impact, not just write code.
The candidate will work on backend systems that encode market rules, organize workflows, and support customer decision making. You will have strong control over what is shipped, from design to production.
Responsibilities:
Develop proprietary end-to-end backend systems, from domain modeling to production reliability.
Build data-intensive systems that support complex energy market workflows.
Make architectural decisions as the platform expands into European markets.
Work with product and operations teams to translate real-world constraints into software.
Improve reliability, observability and operational robustness.
Maintain high engineering standards through reviews, testing, refactorings, and pragmatic best practices.
Model complex energy market rules.
Design workflows that combine asset data, market data, and client actions.
Ensure consistency, traceability and accuracy of data across all systems.
Scale the platform to support multiple countries with different regulations and mechanisms.
Develop internal tools that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.

Salary to receive
€60,000 - €90,000 / year
