Position Overview
Kyron Talent is seeking a detail-oriented LIMS Specialist – QC Chemist/Scientist to support laboratory digital transformation projects within pharmaceutical and biotechnology environments.
This role focuses on configuring and maintaining laboratory templates and workflows within the LabGuru LIMS platform. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in QC analytical laboratories, laboratory documentation, SOPs, and laboratory systems such as LIMS, ELN, or LES.
The selected candidate will collaborate with U.S.-based project teams, validation specialists, and laboratory SMEs to convert laboratory processes, worksheets, and SOPs into structured digital workflows and templates.
This is not a software development role; however, strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Configure laboratory templates, workflows, forms, and data capture structures in LabGuru
Translate SOPs, worksheets, and laboratory methods into digital templates
Support pharmaceutical and biotech QC laboratory digitization initiatives
Collaborate with validation engineers, laboratory SMEs, and project managers
Perform quality checks, validation reviews, and template revisions
Maintain project documentation and configuration records
Participate in remote meetings with U.S.-based teams and clients
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in:
Chemistry
Biochemistry
Biotechnology
Pharmaceutical Sciences
Chemical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering
Life Sciences
Or related technical disciplines
Experience
2–5 years of experience in:
QC laboratory operations
Pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing
LIMS, ELN, or LES systems
GMP documentation
Laboratory data management or digital template configuration
Technical Skills
Knowledge of GMP/GxP/GLP environments
Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and documentation
Experience with laboratory software systems preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to interpret SOPs and technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LabGuru
Exposure to IQ/OQ/PQ/UAT validation documentation
Experience with electronic batch records or laboratory execution systems
Experience working with U.S.-based teams
Location
