Job Description

We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Professional to lead, implement, document and monitor the Occupational Health and Safety Management System - SG-SST of Langon Colombia client companies.

This position is ideal for an organized, autonomous and detail-oriented person who enjoys working remotely, coordinating processes with different clients and converting regulations into clear, compliant and easy-to-understand actions.

The position is remote, full-time, with occasional visits to assigned companies when the process, inspection, training or nature of the client requires it.

What you will do

You will have a key role in risk prevention, regulatory compliance and customer support. Among your main responsibilities will be:

Plan, implement, maintain and improve the SG-SST of the assigned companies.

Identify hazards, evaluate and assess risks, and update risk matrices with the participation of workers.

Design and monitor annual work, training, prevention and improvement plans.

Carry out safety inspections, locations, personal protection elements, emergencies, tools and equipment.

Investigate incidents, work accidents and possible occupational diseases, proposing preventive and corrective measures.

Monitor indicators, objectives, goals, corrective actions and documentary compliance of the SG-SST.

Support the formation, training and operation of support committees.

Accompany preventive and occupational medicine activities, occupational medical examinations, restrictions and medical recommendations.

Prepare clear reports for internal and external clients on progress, risks, pending and action plans.

Translate legal and technical OSH obligations into practical recommendations for client companies.

Participate in virtual and in-person meetings with clients, workers, suppliers and internal team.

Promptly support administrative or human resources processes related to SST, when necessary.

What we are looking for

Essential requirements

Graduated professional in Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Health or related areas.

Current license in Occupational Health and Safety.

50-hour course in SG-SST, or 20-hour update when applicable.

1 to 2 years experience in implementation, monitoring or support of the SG-SST.

Knowledge of current Colombian OSH regulations.

Use of digital tools, especially Office 365, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint or similar tools.

Availability for full-time remote work and occasional client visits.

Basic or intermediate English: it is not a requirement to be bilingual, but it is necessary to be able to understand simple communications, participate in basic interactions and rely on tools to communicate with foreign clients.

Skills that we value highly

We are looking for a person who can work well even when there is no constant supervision. For this role, success depends not only on technical knowledge, but on the way work, clients and communication are managed.

We especially value:

Autonomy and self-management: you know how to prioritize, move forward and ask for clarity when something blocks the process.

Planning and time management: you manage several clients, dates, evidence and deliverables without losing traceability.

Clear and assertive communication: you explain technical SST issues in a language that is understandable to clients and workers.

Service Orientation: You understand that the customer needs practical solutions, not just regulatory requirements.

Attention to detail: you document well, follow up and reduce errors in sensitive information.

Proactivity: you do not wait for the risk to become urgent; you anticipate, alert and propose.

Professional judgment: you know how to balance compliance, prevention, operational feasibility and customer experience.

Reliability: you comply with agreements, manage confidential information and provide visibility on progress.

Intercultural adaptability: you are interested in working with foreign clients and learning to communicate in diverse contexts.

Conditions

Modality: remote, with occasional visits to client companies.

Hours: full time.

Contract: employment, ideally for an indefinite term.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $2,500,000 to $2,700,000 depending on work experience.

Desirable location: Medellín, Valle de Aburrá or availability for occasional trips according to assigned clients.

Work tools: it is required to have a computer, a stable internet connection and an adequate space for virtual meetings and concentration.

English: basic or intermediate. It is not essential to be bilingual. ",
