Job Description
We are looking for a Principal Product Engineer to be responsible for the design, development and evolution of digital products, with a special focus on CKEditor and its ecosystem. The selected person will work at the intersection between engineering, product and artificial intelligence, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify innovation opportunities, develop new functionalities and transform prototypes into production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in the company's products through the use of artificial intelligence and automation.
Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to define objectives, scope and success criteria for new features.
Design end-to-end solutions that span the editor, backend services, and other ecosystem products.
Develop prototypes in an agile way, iterate based on the feedback received and convert the best proposals into production-ready functionalities.
Design and implement integrations, APIs, workflows and components that extend the capabilities of the platform.
Contribute to the development of CKEditor and other company products, mainly in frontend technologies and shared components.
Influence technical management and promote good development practices within teams.
Drive the adoption of artificial intelligence-assisted development tools and methodologies to improve productivity and software quality.
Collaborate with front-end, cloud services, and integrations teams to develop end-to-end solutions.
Requirements:
Knowledge of frontend development and experience working with complex web applications.
Experience designing and implementing solutions that integrate frontend, backend and cloud services.
Ability to quickly develop prototypes and convert them into production-ready solutions.
Experience working with APIs, integrations and platform architectures.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, product and design teams.
Proactive mentality and ability to function autonomously in uncertain environments.
Interest and experience in the application of artificial intelligence and automation to product development.
Ability to drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and promote good technical practices within the team.
